Terms of Use for Calls and SMS/MMS Text Messaging from the Pennsylvania House Republican Caucus
The Pennsylvania House Republican Caucus (Caucus) and its members may engage in messaging with constituents in which constituents may subscribe to receive recorded voice messages or messages on a wireless device via a message service ("SMS") or multimedia message service ("MMS"), otherwise known as "text messages," the frequency and availability of which may vary. Personal information/data collected will not be sold or shared with third parties.
In connection with voice and text messaging programs, the Caucus and its members are responsible for complying with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines including, without limitation, the carrier or wireless industry guidelines regarding data privacy or transmission of technical or personal data. By opting in to receive text messages from the Caucus or its members, the constituent consents to the following: 1. He or she may receive recurring voice or text messages to the mobile number provided; 2. He or she is being sent voice or text messages using autodial or other automated technology; and 3. He or she is confirming that he or she is over the age of 13.
Constituents may cancel or opt out of any voice or text messaging provided by the Caucus or its members by replying "STOP" (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL OR QUIT) from his or her mobile device to any text message received from the Caucus or its members. Constituents understand that, for their protection, they may receive a text message on the mobile number confirming the cancellation.
If constituents require additional information or assistance, text "HELP" from his or her mobile device to any text message received from the Caucus or its members.
Constituents' mobile service provider's standard messaging and data rates may apply to text messages from the Caucus or its members. Message frequency may vary. The Caucus and its members assume no responsibility for charges incurred by constituents signing up for text messaging. Any text messaging fees that constituents incur will be billed on his or her individual mobile provider bill.
Collection, storage and use of constituents' mobile number are done accordance with the privacy policy and applicable terms of use of the Caucus or its members.
