Take a Survey Regarding Student Use of Cell Phones in School


Concern continues to arise from parents and educators that students’ use of cell phones have become distractions from learning. Different approaches to address the issue have been discussed in the General Assembly. Below, please label your top choice via the respective number, followed by your second choice to your least.


(1.)   Restrict Phone Usage from Bell to Bell, the Entire School Day
(2.)   Allow Phones to be Used During Lunch and in Hallways, but not During Instruction
(3.)   Teachers Should be Able to Address How They Deem Necessary
(4.)   School Districts Should Establish Their Own Policies
(5.)   Students Should not be Restricted from Using Their Phones at All
